Anthony J. Hernandez
Globe Unified School District Board of Education
I understand the hardships of growing up in a small town. I recognize that our future is our children. I want to put as much as I can to creating a strong future for them, their children and generations after. If given the chance, I would like to be one of the leaders in Globe Unified School District. I would like to bring a fresh look into our future and work with those that are making a difference everyday for our youth, our Teachers. I would be honored to represent our community and continue to be a voice for our youth. I will continue to put more into our community to better the future.
Please vote for me for Globe Unified School district Board of Education
From Serving our Country
To Serving our Community
“After my time in the service, I wanted to start by giving back to the people who provided us our freedoms by taking on Commanding the VFW, now it’s time for me to start becoming more active in the local community by running for GUSD School Board of Education.”
Veterans of Foreign Wars Commander
“The All-American Commanders have attained this coveted title through outstanding achievements in membership growth and participation in VFW programs,” said VFW National Commander Brian Duffy.
High Desert Middle School Football Coach
Starting out as a solo coach, I built out the entire program from scratch. From Sprinting to long distance running, we developed a program that would progress overtime.
Community Advocate
As I do understand the hardships of growing up in a small town, I also understand it’s strengths and weaknesses. I have seen it’s hardships from ongoing drugs problems to qualified employees. I am passionate about building our community around our youth and being a role model for all.
